The WAV files can be very large due to their high quality (approx. 600 MB). We therefore recommend downloading the MP3 file first and only starting the WAV download once the MP3 has been fully downloaded. If the download hangs, try to download it again using the “Restart download” or “Continue download” options.

You are welcome to use the music in a closed setting, such as a group room or a practice, as long as there is no livestream. On the contrary, we are delighted when the music is used in such contexts!

However, as the productions in the Theta Music Shop are commissioned compositions with exclusive rights of use, the music may not be recorded, sold, distributed or used commercially. So if you want to put a meditation with my music online, for example, this is not permitted as the music is protected by copyright and cannot be licensed. Platforms such as YouTube block videos that contain music that is not copyright-free.

However, if you need a new commissioned composition with usage rights, we will be happy to make you an offer.

WAF stands for “WAV Audio File” and is a lossless audio format that stores music in the highest quality. Unlike compressed formats such as MP3, WAV retains all the audio information, resulting in a clearer and more detailed sound experience. This format is ideal if you want to listen to music in its best sound quality, especially during meditation, where every sound is important.

To hear the music truly lossless, I recommend wired headphones, as Bluetooth headphones usually compress the audio data, which can affect the quality. Wired headphones ensure that the sound arrives exactly as it was produced and offer the best listening experience for WAV files.

When purchasing, you always have automatic access to both audio formats (WAV and MP3).

For listening to Theta meditation music in lossless quality, wired headphones with high fidelity are ideal. Here are some of the best brands and models that provide a premium listening experience:

Sennheiser HD 600 / HD 650 / HD 660S: These headphones are known for their neutral and balanced sound and are ideal for relaxing and meditative music. They offer a very detailed sound reproduction and are comfortable for longer sessions.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro / DT 990 Pro: These models are very popular with audiophiles. They deliver a clear and precise sound and are available in different impedance variants, depending on the sound source you are using. The DT 770 Pro is closed, while the DT 990 Pro is open, which provides a more open sound image.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x: A very versatile headphone with excellent sound across all frequencies. It is priced slightly lower than other high-end models, but still offers impressive sound quality.

Sony MDR-75: A classic in the audio industry, offering excellent sound quality at an affordable price. It is particularly good for detailed reproduction and is suitable for long periods of listening.

MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) is an audio format that compresses music data in order to reduce the file size. This removes certain sound information that the human ear perceives as less important. As a result, MP3 files are significantly smaller than lossless formats such as WAF, making them ideal for fast transmission and storage on mobile devices.

When purchasing, you always have automatic access to both audio formats (WAV and MP3).

There is an option on the checkout page to give vouchers to someone as a gift, but this can easily be overlooked. It is important to enter the e-mail address of the person receiving the gift. The voucher will then be sent directly to this person, who can log in with their e-mail and then select and download the desired music.

You can pay conveniently by credit card or PayPal. As the administrative effort for bank transfers would be too great for a small company like us and you would also have to wait days for your download authorization, we do not offer this payment method. With credit card or PayPal, however, you get immediate access to your music.

This theta meditation music is elaborately produced to the highest quality. In contrast to many free offerings, the composer, Moritz Schneider, also works with real instruments and voices to create an authentic sound experience. A production takes 2-3 weeks on average and requires careful planning with all the musicians involved. As he attaches great importance to live recordings, the musicians receive a fair fee for their work and the recordings take place in professional studios worldwide, which incurs additional costs. A “normal” production of 20 to 40 minutes of music usually costs between €8,000 and €12,000. Of course, it would be possible to produce theta meditation music only on the computer, but he has also deliberately opted for real handmade music and real human voices.

I made a conscious decision to produce “handmade” music for theta meditations because it creates an authentic and profound sound experience. Live instruments and real voices transfer energy and emotion directly into the music, which enables a stronger connection to the listener. The natural vibrations and harmonious sounds of handmade music promote a deeper meditative experience and effectively support the activation of the chakras. I also offer a unique, high-quality sound quality that digital productions cannot achieve. This quality is crucial to optimally accompany listeners on their journey to deep relaxation and inner growth.

Falling asleep while listening is due to the effect of theta waves, which oscillate at a frequency of 4-8 Hz. These waves have a direct effect on your brain and put it in a state of deep relaxation and calm. They are particularly effective in reducing stress, alleviating inner restlessness and bringing you into a meditative state. Depending on your state of mind during the day and how relaxed you already are, the music can have such a calming effect that it guides you to sleep. This is a completely natural effect and shows that the music is having a relaxing effect and you need sleep – even I, as a musician and composer, sometimes fall asleep while mixing the music!

Yes, (almost) anything is possible! The composer Moritz Schneider can create individual meditations according to your wishes, provided there is capacity. For example, the meditation can be tailored to your individual resting pulse or recorded with the choir or musicians of your choice – even with a 100-piece symphony orchestra if you wish! The price for commissioned productions varies greatly depending on the scope and production effort, i.e. depending on how many musicians, vocals and instruments are to be involved.
